Queensland GovernmentThe Queensland Government provided $2000 to the Townsville Touch Referees Association Inc. to enable Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities.
In 2020, the funding was used to purchase whistles and wrist-bands for our referees to replace the regular whistle loan-out scheme which has been suspended since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Referees are eligible for one (1) free whistle and wrist-band, which can be collected from one of the TTRA Management Committee members on game days.
